PRIVACY NOTICE FOR THE COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
NORTHALL BAPTIST CHURCH
We collect information to help in the running of the church, support our pastoral and other Christian activities and ensure financial prudence as required by the Charity Commission. In summary:
- Members and friends: we collect names, address, telephone and email details to compile a contact list for private circulation.
- Safeguarding: we collect and process information necessary to meet our safeguarding obligations. This includes operating DBS checks and keeping the records.
- Financial: we collect individual bank and other information necessary to process covenants and other financial transactions. Where necessary we may use this information to compile records required by HMRC and the Charity Commission.
- Web/Publications/Social media: information we need to use such as photographs of individuals, videos etc which are now subject to data controls is dealt with in accord with specific reference on our website. We have also registered with the Information Commissioners Office to cover this activity.
